Dr. Ortiz-Ubarri presented the paper “EIP: Engaging Laboratory Experiences for the Introduction to Programming Course" at the NSF Envisioning the Future of Undergraduate STEM Education: Research and Practice Symposium on April 27-29, 2016, in Washington, D.C.

Many STEM educational projects funded by the National Science Fundation were presented at this conference in the form of talks and posters.  The talk offered by Dr. Ortiz-Ubarri included the laboratory experiences developed by the project, the electronic book with the laboratory examples, and information about the assessment materials, and evaluation results.
